RFA, Cap Badge

Hi there,

There seem to be so many different cap badges for the RFA. Could anyone tell me where I can get a picture of one for the RFA, 462nd BTY, 179th BDE for 1918.

Were these linked to various regiments as there seem to be badges for each of them?

Cheers,

Alan

The badge of RFA, RGA RHA was the same for nearly all batteries and brigades, apart from the Territorial units whose badge did not carry the motto 'Ubique'.

It is the same today, apart from the pattern of crown, now the Queen's version.

Regular pattern RFA badge Alan, There were a few variations with the wording on the scrolls for volunteer units, RGA, RHA and the TF having two sprigs of laurel on the upper scroll
