Remembered Today:

RAMC Magazine

I have been lucky enough to buy 4 copies of the RAMC Magazine dating from 1917.

They really are a very interesting insight into the RAMC, lots of poetry, comedy sketches and articles. There is quite a bit relating to the defence of the Corps against the bad press they undeservedly recieved at the time.

I have not seen these magazines before, does anybody else have any, are they a rarity?

If anyone is researching any members of the RAMC there are quite a few names and numbers printed, I would be happy to see if your man is there.

Bob

I'm trying to find some details about Reginald Cyril Moores who served in the RAMC.

He appears on the Barkisland, West Yorkshire Memorial but has no entry on the CWGC site or in SDGW. I've discovered he died some time after the war but would appreciate any details you may have.

Many thanks

Rob,

I've had a scan through the magazines but can find no mention of the man you are looking for, sorry about that.

Good luck in you search.

Bob.
