Theme 'Centenary' so picking out the key themes of each of four years. 1915 - Bob Bushaway - the real beginning of the war 1916 - Bill Philpott - very good on defining what attrition meant 1917 - Rob Thompson - lot on 'enginneering' failures at 3rd Ypres 1918 - John Bourne - reminding us that we won and that war was actually about killing.
