Khaki Posted 28 October , 2012 Share Posted 28 October , 2012 I was looking recently at a British Officers woollen uniform jacket, shoulder rank insignia, striped cotton sleeve lining, khaki material interior lining, deep lower pockets. I couldn't really tell whether it was made during the war or say, in the 1920's. It also had GW ribbons, but of course that could just mean that they were put there post war on a wartime jacket. I presume that officers tailors made up multiple jackets during the war for individual customers and shipped them on request etc. Was there any change in design from late war to early 1920's.
