Muerrisch Posted 22 October , 2012 Share Posted 22 October , 2012 I seek help in identifying the old codger with 12 good conduct badges who stars in: http://1914-1918.inv...5 Working on the few facts/ probabilities: photo about 1925 enlisted R Inn Fus c. 1870 awarded IGS pre-1895 and post 1895, Coronation or Durbar 1911, and LS&GC I need access to the relevant medal rolls, or extracts thereof, or some kind soul to have a look. His regimental number may well look an odd-one-out in any of these rolls, because it is very likely to be of the second [from 1856] or third [from 1873] series and thus either unusually low in the range 1 to 2500, or with a regimental or sub-district prefix such as 27/ or 27B/. Clearly if one man looks like an outlier in each roll, and fits the other criteria, he is a candidate. Bletchley Park it isn't!
