paul guthrie Posted 23 August , 2004 Share Posted 23 August , 2004 One of an amazing amount of fine accounts by Canadians considering size of the country, available paperback. He says a couple of interesting but second hand things, retreating Portuguese were shot by British, Canadians evicted them from shelters dug for civilians. Any 1st hand accounts of these? Mentions also 17 year old British noble, Earl De la Warr serving as ordinary seaman RN. No details.
