Remembered Today:

RGA Fort Fareham

Can anyone please confirm that the soldier in this photo is Garrison Artillery? Uniform is not my strong point. I obtained this photo as it shows a portion of Fort Fareham in the background. I know that the following were at Fort Fareham:

1904 No.31 (H) Company Southern Group R.G.A.

1905 -14 No.108 (Heavy) Company Southern Group R.G.A. (Later 108 Heavy Battery R.G.A.)

I would think this is a postwar image as he has the artillery collar badges - and lanyard on the right shoulder - both postwar innovations. But nothing to suggest RGA (which may have ceased to be a separate branch by then..).

1925 = Hampshire Heavy brigade - 155th Heavy Bty Portsmouth and Fareham, I see..
