Tom W. Posted 15 September , 2012 Share Posted 15 September , 2012 The surname begins with "J" and ends with "-borg," and the word "April" is Norwegian. The uniform and headgear aren't Danish, Swedish, or Finnish, so that seems to leave Norway. A stamp on the back reads "John Eglund" and then the rest is indecipherable. Any ideas? centurion Posted 15 September , 2012 Share Posted 15 September , 2012 This is a 1940 photo of the Norwegian CiC http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcT06BNxtRMZ79cTUzqumaS6hE_V8kY_wG3KJCUfxrFucO5EZhB3GD0qLAq52g - you will see that the officer standing next to him has the same type of cap I'm afraid that to make the link work you need to highlight it, right click on it and select go to web address.
