Is this a re-modelled SD jacket/tunic?

Hi All,

I was able recently to photograph this 1916-era Irish Volunteers jacket/tunic as part of my task of assembling a digital archive. To my eye it looks like a re-cut WWI vintage British Army tunic, although I note it doesn't seem to have any pleats under the collar.

Any knowledgeable members out there able to cast an expert eye over it to confirm or otherwise?
