tullybrone Posted 8 August , 2012 Share Posted 8 August , 2012 Hi, When I got my great uncles Canadian service record from Ottowa 2 years ago (hard copy) there was a form of MIC enclosed. Similar to but not identical to UK version. I know that 1st page (both sides I think) Canadian attestation paper is on Ancestry but not MIC unless it has gone online recently. This is link to Canadian archive homepage. http://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/index-e.html Regards, Steve Y.
Stephen Nulty Posted 9 August , 2012 Author Share Posted 9 August , 2012 Cheers for that. I already have the Attestation Papers link but was curious about MIC. I note a section on the site has instructions on how to interpret the cards, but couldn't find any access to them. I assume, therefore, thay they only form part of the full service file.
