alanpat Posted 3 August , 2012 Share Posted 3 August , 2012 In 2 years time the centenery of the opening shots of WW1 were exchanged at Mons, between Germany, and as the Kaiser described our expeditionary force "That Contemtable Little Army" I know its still 2 years away but does anyone know if there are any ceremonies planned in Mons to mark the occasion ? bruce Posted 3 August , 2012 Share Posted 3 August , 2012 The museum in the town has been undergoing some changes, and will re-open officially on Saturday, August 23rd, 2014.
