Does anyone have any knowledge on this organization. We have a photo of a train departing with a number of woman in uniform with the sign Wilby's Wasps written on it.

Not sure if this was a Canadian unit or Brittish.

The only organisation I know of called "Wasps" was the United States Women's Air Force Service Pilots, an organisation disbanded in 1943. It performed a function similar to our ATA.

Whilst this is prob ably not correct, the pseudonym wasp used to be referred to as a White anglo saxon protestant. Not politically correct these days

of course.
