Accommodation 21 to 25 Sept 2012 Somme area.

Looking accommodation for 2 couples in the Somme/Thiepval area on ground floor unless there is a lift,B&B -Farm house etc

There are three steps into the building but there is ground floor bathroom/kitchen/sitting room/bedroom. Really lovely place. The photo of the garden doesn't do it justice, it must have been taken some time ago. The tree that the swing is hanging from is a majestic walnut. Birds singing, bees buzzing from flower to flower. Lovely. I visited Thiepval, Agny, Arras, the Wellington caves (fantastic and moving) and used the farmhouse as a base. Highly recommended.

I would add, only one of the double bedrooms is downstairs.

I've stayed at that Gites in Hamel. Great spot. There are similar accommodations in Beaucourt and Aveluy (ground floor). Look up the Gites de France website and you can book onlline.
