West Yorkshire Regiment - Rank query

The attached picture is of a family member's regiment (taken in 1925) - he can be seen in the first row seated fourth from the left (with the moustache). He has no stripes on the arms of his uniform but has some sort of insignia visible on his right forearm sleeve. Would anybody be able to tell what rank he would have been?

Thanks

Rhonda

As he is not wearing a Sam Browne belt, or SD tailored as for a Warrant Officer First Class, it is apparent that he is a Company Sergeant Major (Warrant Officer Second Class), as per the enclosed images. Note that at that stage scarlet sashes were still not yet worn with khaki SD.
