The only crime of any significance round here in the last 12 months has been sheep stealing - an ancient Marches tradition. However although I have no sheep to steal I still lock my doors. 10th Hussar DCM Posted 8 June , 2012 Share Posted 8 June , 2012 Victory Medal stolen in a burgalry at Durham City 25th May 2012 between 1pm -1.45pm. The Medal was in a frame alongside the War Medal, wound badge and photo, thief smashed the glass and took the one he thought was gold and left the War Medal. Details on the medal are: Pte.W.Savage 25/1291 North'd Fus. Reward given for its return.
