roughdiamond Posted 4 June , 2012 Share Posted 4 June , 2012 The "V" was possibly for "Volunteers", I believe G Bty was a Regular unit, but was he in a Territorial Artillery Bn post War? Sam

battiscombe Posted 6 June , 2012 Share Posted 6 June , 2012 sounds odd. I think i have heard that some RHA units, (in india mainly ??) may have some slightly unofficial badges made up. G Battery was in Vth (5th) Brigade RHA premobilisation and I wonder if this might have been a Vth brigade version?? the Volunteer Artillery were long gone by 1913 I believe. I am sure soem of the badge specialists would like to see a picture of this.
