I have a 1914/15 star to this unit can anyone please give me some details about them. all I know is they had 6 casualties for WW1 & thats about it.

Your '6 casualties' is a bit out.

There are 97 buried in war graves in France alone plus some more in South Africa!

Who is the man on your medal?

this is the info I got off another forum.

According to the South African Official History of the War, the CAHTC suffered 6

fatal casualties.

His name is Dvr J H Nell
