Pals.

I was up early this morning to attened a work collegues school Car Boot.

A Chap had a table full of rubbish, apart from a tin that court my eye.

"arh it was me old fella's some badges and stuff in there have a look"

This is a little something I found.

"£20 and I'll take the lot. Not my thing" Said me

"Yes mate. It will be on the tip tonight if this stuff does not go today"

Nice little bunch--I rather think that the Shropshire Yeomanry is a cast copy, probably made in an Indian Bazaar!!

And to have the named badge is fantastic. As well as his name he appears to have inscribed his service number on the other side of the slider.

A very nice find. Well done. In the last 2 years I've handled hundreds of WW1 and WW2 badges and not one has been inscribed like that. A rare survivor. Last week I was talking to a man who had picked up a tray of badges and medals at a boot fair in Devon the week before for just £40. It not only included a Krugerand but also a Waterloo Medal as well (sob)..
