Remembered Today:

West Yorkshire Regiment & King's Own Scottish Borderers Unifor

Hey - in the course of doing mine and my other half's family tree I have come across a number of soldiers and, in the absence of any photographs of any of them being available, I would love to find out what the uniforms of the time look like so I know what our relatives are likely to have worn.

The first is the West Yorkshire Regiment - George Hancock is listed as being a Lance Sergeant with this regiment posted in Sabraon barracks in the 1911 Census.

The second is the King's Own Scottish Borderers - Edward Charlton (my great grandfather) enlisted on 7 November 1902.

If anybody had any pictures which could identify what these men would have worn at the time I would be very grateful.

Many thanks

Rhonda
