DCLI Posted 10 August , 2004 Share Posted 10 August , 2004 Does anyone know who made the original ribbons for the WW1 medals? If yes, does the (any of the) company(ies) still exist? Is there anyway I could get hold of the manufacturing spec? I think the modern ribbons are awful, apart perhaps for the BWM and I would like to investigate sourcing new, silk ribbons, manufactured to the original spec. Any help would be good. regards Anthony
