b3rn Posted 11 April , 2012 Share Posted 11 April , 2012 Today I requested the following document at the Australian War Memorial - Lieutenant Colonel J A Dick, '3rd Australian General Hospital', manuscript, MSS 407, Australian War Memorial 224 (Apologies for no link, I cannot find it again on the catalogue!) Within that wallet was a manuscript MS 408 'Register of deaths' listing those who died at 3 A.G.H. between 1915-1919. It is handwritten (in an exercise book of type G R ARMY BOOK 135) but appears comprehensive. The register includes names, unit, wound/sickness, date of death, and sometimes where buried. As the register includes men of many nationalities, I thought the existence of this document worth posting.
