Remembered Today:

Identifying a post war German veteran badge

I recently obtained a group photo of German WWI veterans taken in Ulm. Almost every man wears a distinct badge in the shape of a shield, similar to Austrian badges from the war. I was hoping someone in the forum might be able to identify this badge and show a clear image of what it looks like. Thanks for any help you can offer.

It does indeed look like the Austrian veterans badge in terms of its shape.

Many thanks frogsmile, I will continue my search until I come across something similar for Württemberg troops. I am sure an example is out there.
