I`ve lost one of my men

Hi All

I have lost one of my men in 1911, Edward Joseph Harris Born 1891 in St Peter In the East Oxford, I cannot find him on Ancestry in the 1911 census and was wondering if anyone can find him on Find My Past,

He may be in the Army by this time if so he would be in the Ox&Bucks L I,

There are 12 pages of service records for your man on FMP. He is in the Ox&Bucks L I like you said, his number is 1594.

Thats my man, apart from Foleshill is there an address for him? as im stuck with this one, as I hope he is staying with his brother James w Harris but I cant find him on Ancestry either :angry2:

James is living in Reading, Berks in 1911 at 5 Hilcot Road.

Dave, is that your tree running on ancestry.

It says that in 1913 Edward is living with his brother in foleshill, coventry according to the military history.

Yes it is but its wrong, thats why I have to get it right its doing me head in :w00t:

Thanks for looking for me as I can`t find him on Ancestry either or two other brothers, they must have all gone camping that day :D

He was recorded in the local papers as having attested at Reading 26/11/15 and living at Coleshill

In 1918 5 Hilcot Road was the residence of William Richardson who was in military service according to the electoral register

brother i have as william james harris Private RWF Parents reside 200 Broad street, Foleshill. Wounded in stomach during bayonet charge. Age 31. South african veteran. Employed websters brickyard. Recovered in birmingham hospital. I have photo of william
