Simon Mills Posted 4 March , 2012 Share Posted 4 March , 2012 Dear all, Some time back I asked in another thread if anyone had any information on the trench system in the vicinity of St Eloi. Unfortunately I was asking about an earlier stage of the war when the system of trench mapping hadn't been properly refined, but I am gradually narrowing down the area in question and hopefully someone may yet be able to help. I'm specifically interested in the trenches running from the south/south east of St. Eloi to the southern bank of the Ypres-Comines Canal, although in my case the specific area of interest is, I think, largely located between St. Eloi and Oosthoek. In an ideal world the date I am looking for is February 1915, but if that's not possible then is there anyone who can provide a more detailed map of this sector from this or any other stage of the war? Many thanks in advance to anyone who can help. Simon.
