Please see the attached picture. I am trying to identify the top title. I have been unable to find it in the ususal sources.

My question about the Fort Gary Horse title.... Is there a way of telling what period this is from? I have a wartime set that includes a cap badge and a pair of wool battle patches from this unit. I was hoping that this piece could be added, but I want to make sure it is proper to the period. Any experts out there?

Thanks,

Chip

I am probably looking for zebras instead of horses, but perhaps the top title: M.S.G. is for the Malay States Guides which was recruited in India and in 1914 were an infantry formation of twp companies of Sikhs, one company of Punjabi Muslims, one company of Pathans and an attached battery of mountain arty, about 900 men not counting British officers.

They were taken from Malaya and posted to Aden in 1915.

Thanks for the reply. A zebra is better than walking. I'll go with your learned answer until someone comes up with something better.
