Were there any patterns of 1905 PATTERN /1912 model, full oil cloth lining that were manufactured without ventilation holes like the one pictured below? In all other respects the cap conforms to the 1905 pattern with short peak etc. Any info or help gratefully received.

Thanks

Mark

To me it looks like one of the caps often used by the VTC and other similar units. A lot of kit they used was often similarly styled to issue kit, but supplied/procured from their own sources, and often of better quality or better material (as the cap seems to be) than issue kit.
