1917 shell casing part 2

My sincere thanks to those who provided advice as a result of my earlier (and first) post - here are two further images of the base of the casing (enhanced by way of chalk powder). Any advice gratefully received.

The case is as I suspected Canadian, made by the Canadian Cartridge Company of Hamilton, Ontario as shown by the "CCCo" circular monogram. The meaning of the three capital letter groups (FVO in this case) found on Canadian manufactured cases is not known (at least to me) and may have something to do with Lot identification.

Sorry, but I cannot make out any more than mentioned previously on the primer.
