Story Posted 14 February , 2012 Share Posted 14 February , 2012 Fidde & Munster, Very nice - any documentation the RIC being carried and if so, by whom? Is it .450 or .442 caliber? * Had this black powder proofed .450 Metropolitan Police a few years. The Good - the nickle finish is gorgeous, must have sat in a drawer for most of it's life. The Bad - the lanyard ring & post was removed, the grips where undersized and... The Ugly - spray painted gold when I got it. Since the grips were originals serial numbered to the weapon but so undersized that it was impossible to bring them up to anything resembling factory standard (like someone deliberately took off all the checkering), I sent it out to get a cobra skin grip wrapping.
