there are two sets of records for the following chap on Ancesty

Thomas James Fellows

16552 Yorkshire regiment (3rd Yorks)

Thomas enlisted into the Yorkshire regiment on Nov 20th 1914 in Middlesbrough aged 25 and 324 days old

his address is given as 8 Thomas Street North Ormesby on his attestation papers Thomas is employed as a blast furnace slagger

He was the husband of Sarah Elizabeth Fellows (nee Howard)

The couple married in Middlesbrough in 1910

He was discharge as not likely to be an efficient soldier on the 19/12/14 (heart murmur)

The couple moved to Newcastle where Thomas re'enlists in Newcasle into the R E transportation Branch

And given the service number 305758 he served at home from 12/4/17 to 22/2/18

He was again discharged no longer fit for military service para 392 XV1 on 22nd January 1918

(cause of discharge physically unfit) valvular diseases of heart agg VDH 30%

His discharge address is given as 249 Janet Street South Byker Newcastle upon Tyne

Whilst it appears from the records that he had previously had problems with his heart

His medical report states his condition was attributable to military service , lifting heavy shells ?

If his death Cirtificate states cause of death V.D.H will the cwgc accept him as a non commemorated

Opinion please

I believe the following is the record from BMD for his date of death

Fellows Thomas J age 30 Newcastle T. 10b310

He is on Middlesbrough war memorial
