He was killed on 26th September 1916 on the Somme and is commemorated on the Thiepval memorial. Trio comes with MIC, BW and VM rolls. Attack on Schwaben Trench (running from Mouquet Farm to Thiepval), then on to Zollern Trench and Hessian Trench in the Battle of Thiepval Ridge, Somme.
