Khaki Posted 9 January , 2012 Share Posted 9 January , 2012 Was there an official order regarding the prevention of wearing ribbons/medals of the central powers previously held by British subjects? I presume that the impact of this would have been greater on the more senior ranks . Common sense would have dictated that they were removed, but like today there may have been the hard headed who were reluctant to do so.
