SWB Cant find online

Hi

I have an SWB number 260070 when I put the number in the Keyword search box on Ancestry I dont get any results....

Any ideas? could it be Naval? RAF or just not great indexing?

I went to the SWB search page and there is search facility using the badge number.

I get Pte W Brown, 58935 R W Fus, Sickness. Enlisted 29/6/03, discharge 22/8/1917. Age 32. Served abroad.

Just found he was also 8133 South Wales borderers with 14 Star trio Willie Brown

and even better his pension record survives..Hes a miner from near Pontefract served post war South Africa and India into reserves and recalled on outbreak of war.

Was wounded in both legs 27/10/14 and finally discharged 1917
