T8HANTS Posted 28 December , 2011 Share Posted 28 December , 2011 Hi all I was just wondering if anyone has a trench map of the British lines that ran into the sea at the extreme western end of the trenches at Gaza for mid 1917? I am particularly interested in the trenches around the post known as "Bacon's Boil", that was opposite the Turkish redoubts "Beach Post and "Sea Post". Hope you can help, Gareth
connaughtranger Posted 28 December , 2011 Share Posted 28 December , 2011 Hi Probably not what you quite wanted but all I could find at the moment, and might be of some help: Taken from 1 : 20000 Trench Map of Gaza D2 Turkish trenches corrected to 17/10/17. Although it's marked Secret it doesn't show British trenches in detail From 52nd Lowland Divisional history: Regards Martin
