Pte W Smith - Durham Light Infantry

Hi, I was wondering if anyone might be in a position to help me identify a soldier I'm researching. He was 4436804 Pte W Smith and he served with the Northamptonshire Regiment in China as a reservist in 1927. His number indicates that he was originally a member of the Durham Light infantry who was already serving with the Regiment when the new numbers came in sometime in 1921. I imagine he has late WW1 service. If you can help me identify him it would be much apprecaited.

Regards

Conor
