Guest St Andrew Posted 28 July , 2004 Share Posted 28 July , 2004 My wife has just started work as th Bar Manager of The St Andrews Hotel in Lhanbryde, Scotland which is built around the villages Drill Hall (still recognisable as such) She would be very grateful of any information as to who used the hall (The building housing Morays Local Collection suffered fire, little lost but makes research difficult). She would like to include some reference to the Men who used the hall in the Bar itself. I will forward some pictures of the hall for your database. Cheers R. PhilB Posted 28 July , 2004 Share Posted 28 July , 2004 The 1/6 and 2/6 Bns Seaforth Highlanders were at Elgin, so a first guess would be a company of those. Incidentally the 4th Bn was at Dingwall and the 5th at Golspie. Of course, it could have been Artillery etc. Cheers, Phil B
