Jack Charles Copson 60015 labour corp was wounded (gas) on 14 may 1918 and died on 15 may 1918. What action would he have been involved on the day he died?

He was in 101 Company and they were laying cable when the area came under a heavy and sustained gas attack.

This was one of the most serious incidents involving a Labour Company .

In "No Labour, No Battle" you will find futher detailsof the events on page 148.

Ivor
