Guest Retford123 Posted 6 November , 2011 Share Posted 6 November , 2011 I have a map about 18 inches square which appears to be printed with information added over the top in pencil of an area between Bawtry and Misterston. It is titled "10th Notts (Retford) A Coy" and details positions of platoons and head quarters amongst other things. There are references on the map of other units that boarder this area. I cannot date it but it was found in a box in an attic along side items dating from 1890 though to about 1930 including a 1914 Infrantry Handbook. Can anyone help me work out what it is and when it might have been made? I haven't found out very much from the internet beyond a reference to the Nottinghamshire Yeomanry being formed in 1908 and possibly being based at Misterton. many thanks - Mark Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
