museumtom Posted 3 November , 2011 Share Posted 3 November , 2011 While searching google one of my own books book I came across this site http://freebooksandebooks.com/poets-of-the-great-war-2 now no matter what you do you cannot find a link to download anything, is it a ply to have us clicking away? The comments are usually three on each book and are one or two words. Am I missing something here? Has anyone ever downloaded anything from them or is it a way to make the site the most clicked on the internet? Cheers. Tom.

tipperary Posted 3 November , 2011 Share Posted 3 November , 2011 (edited) Tom its to get you to download their pdf reader and god knows what else. Once you download the reader it may actually let you download the book.I get a lot of free workshop manuals off the web where the real business of the site is to sell you file hosting services.john Phil is also right tom there is a download button to select which takes you into the page to download reader Edited 3 November , 2011 by munster
museumtom Posted 3 November , 2011 Author Share Posted 3 November , 2011 It all sound very hairy, nothing clear-cut. Has anyone ever downloaded anything from this site. Cheers. Tom.
Terry_Reeves Posted 3 November , 2011 Share Posted 3 November , 2011 Tom I see what you mean. All the comments are of a piece and they are not supported any form of identification. TR
museumtom Posted 3 November , 2011 Author Share Posted 3 November , 2011 Thanks Terry, I thought so. It looks to me like a new way of making a site have an enormous amount of hits so they can sell it. Does that sound logical? Cheers. Tom.
