Does anybody know what the IGC badge is? I suspect that's not "IGC" but "1 GC", ie "one good conduct badge". These were essentially the same as rank chevrons, but worn point up on the lower left sleeve, and awarded to soldiers after set period of time who had accumulated the relevant "undetected crime" to their name.
