What do you make of this?

There is no name on the rim, but A MOPLON is embossed/inscribed on the face. It's thinner than the Victory Medal, and the U is a V.

Pierre Alexander Morlon was the designer of the French version of the Allied Victory medal.

Thanks Ulsterlad. I didn't even know there was a French version. Interesting. I can see it is an R now :thumbsup:

Probably around £10-£15 would seem to be a ballpark figure for this medal.

There are 3 Frog versions,I believe,Morlon's being the most common.Ten quid max,Mike.
