Kathie Posted 3 October , 2011 Share Posted 3 October , 2011 I am traipsing round after the South AFrican infantry - following footsteps so to speak. From the war diaries there are two camps I cannot find - Eyre Camp near Poperinghe (they were there in September 1917) and Y Huts on the St Pol road outside Arras (they were there end of 1916, before Arras 1917 and on other occasions).
