Peter Sheehan Posted 30 September , 2011 Share Posted 30 September , 2011 Looking at that last close up I think the partly visible badge is likely to be the Royal Lancaster Regiment's badge - the head and raised leg of the lion just visible- but facing right instead of left as in the picture of the badge shown in the earlier post. Perhaps the photo or the scan was flipped/mirrored? Is there anything else in that photo scan that suggests it might be a flip view of the original? Or was the lion ever facing right?
