Can anyone tell me which unit this soldier belonged to?

This photo shows Harry Firth. I am wondering if anyone can tell me what unit he belongs to from the photo.

Harry Firth was born in 1887 in Thackley Yorshire and died in 1953. Lived in Idle Yorkshire according to all census from birth so am assuming he enlisted in Yorkshire somewhere. There are numerous Harry Firths in the medal cards so would need to narrow down, maybe by regiment or corps.

I tried the soldier forum and they suggested you might have some luck identifying the badge. Hope some one can help.

Harry's granddaughter has mentions (postcards from France) of him being in transport (driver) if that helps.

That would point at him being in the ASC, but it's not totally conclusive.
