Hello Everyone

Has anyone got a trench map of the Bellewaarde Ridge and able to locate the exact position of Hill 50?

Any help, as always, will be gratefully received

Andy

Hi Andy

Did I send you a map of the area some time ago, I can't remember if I did or not, If not then I can email to you or post it here. Hill 50 is just east of the lake, Sieben Ho. lies on the German side of the slope.

Hello Annette

You did post a map (don't know if its the one you are referring to) which I saved to my hardrive. I have checked it but can't see any mention of Hill 50. I will look for Sieben House.

Thanks alot

Andy.

Centre of the scan, the 50m contour. That's Hill 50.

Dave.

Hello Dave

Thanks a lot mate. I know exactly were I am now. I think I probably have a picture of the feature as my camera was going like an LMG when I visited the area recently. I was quite taken aback that a trenchline had been placed in a position were the enemy could mass by using dead ground to within about a 100 yards.

Thanks again

Andy
