ATNOMIS Posted 21 August , 2011 Share Posted 21 August , 2011 Pals. I had a work colleague brought in a Princess Mary's Gift to the Troops, Christmas 1914 inside was an Old Cheshire Regiment cap badge. My colleague found it in his Mums document box full of insurance policies and other such stuff. Sadly no picture and family members from what Ive been told never served with Cheshires. He's asked whats the value I said £40? Am I off target? Seen on Thief bay Thief bay for £45 near enough. Thoughts please Simon

dycer Posted 21 August , 2011 Share Posted 21 August , 2011 My Uncle's Brass Box,complete with the Princess Mary Christmas Card, just sits on my mantle piece and where stamps and the Lottery tickets are deposited behind. Yes it contains his Trio but it is just a "working Box" Name your own price on "Thief Bay". George

HarryBettsMCDCM Posted 21 August , 2011 Share Posted 21 August , 2011 For insurance £40 ~£45 would be adequate it is quite polished and has verdigris, the badge is nice but not rare, and probably worth around a tenner, HB
