Fighting the Turks - in June 1920

Very interesting. The events in this area at the end of and after the war were very complicated and defy a lot of assumptions and stereotypes. A lot of people far from home suffered obscure or unknown deaths. An inportant background theme was the ongoing efforts of a lot of people and countries to complete taking apart not only the Turkish Empire but also Turkey itself. At this time my father was running guns out of Berlin to Turkey to help them defend themselves.
