Moriaty Posted 5 August , 2011 Share Posted 5 August , 2011 I am researching the Battle of Loos in relation to the 84th Brigade in the 28th Division. On the National Archives web site I have found the diaries for the individual battalions in the 84th Brigade, but haven't been able to track down the Diary of the 28th Division. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction? Thanks Moriaty
Chris_Baker Posted 5 August , 2011 Share Posted 5 August , 2011 It's WO95/2268 for 28th Divisional HQ, General Staff.

ypres Posted 10 August , 2011 Share Posted 10 August , 2011 Hi Chris. Is the index online, cheers. JIM.
Chris_Baker Posted 10 August , 2011 Share Posted 10 August , 2011 Forgive me if you already know this but yes, the WO95 index is part of the overall National Archives index of holdings. It is called the Catalogue (used to be PROcat) and is accessible through the National Archives website. The original index can be seen there on paper and in places is a little more detailed than the digital version.
