to my opininion it is one of them bombs shaped like a gascan. I can't remember its name though. Like I see it here I 'think' he's empty...

I think it is a round for the "Albrecht Morser" or "Holzmorser" - a type of German trench mortar made with a wire bound wooden barrel, very early in the war and very primitive. Calibre 25cm.

I guess you are thinking of a Livens, it has a similar look but they are of course symetrical in shape, the object above has a flat base and rather a thick wall...
