priv Posted 9 July , 2004 Share Posted 9 July , 2004 Spied a casualty pair to the HLI - name of Philip(Tyne Cot Dec 1917) listed separately yesterday. Sent a very polite email and got the most charming response from the seller - thanking me for the advice and understanding why they should be sold as a pair. priv Posted 13 July , 2004 Author Share Posted 13 July , 2004 It has got even better !!!! It has been discovered that the medals were issued to a relative and that the family still have the Plaque. They were thrilled as you would expect. One of the family recalled something in an anvelope and has spent the last few days ransacking her house to find it.
