Mark Hone Posted 17 June , 2011 Share Posted 17 June , 2011 My (excellent) young piper will be playing on our October tour, including a wreath laying at the joint Black Watch/ Cameron Highlanders Memorial at High Wood. It was planned that he would play 'Lochaber No More', the lament of both regiments there. Unfortunately he is having trouble finding the sheet music for this. He can already play 'Flowers of the Forest' but if possible he would like to include 'Locahaber'. Does anyone have the sheet music or know of somehwere where I can obtain it? I hasten to add that I know nothing about pipe music other than liking it.

KevinBattle Posted 17 June , 2011 Share Posted 17 June , 2011 The College of Piping should be able to point you to a music book that has the tune in it.... College of Piping or try The Piping Centre Good luck and hope it's a fine day for all concerned.
Piorun Posted 17 June , 2011 Share Posted 17 June , 2011 This might give you a better flavour of the tune http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=15&ved=0CFUQtwIwBDgK&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3D9uhcY-Acp7Y&rct=j&q=Lochaber%20No%20more%20Pipe%20Sheet%20music&ei=Zcv7TZi5NYu1hAf5lqGcCw&usg=AFQjCNFpJlcFpdq36Vvqpn4kIQqGsfpUgQ&cad=rja . It also tells you that Scots Guards Vol 2 is one book with the music. Antony
